Hello! Welcome to Aeromodelling
Aeromodelling is the design, construction and flying of model aircrafts.
A model aircraft is a small sized replica of an existing or imaginary aircraft. It may be flying or non-flying (static), and may or may not be an accurate scale model of a full-size design.
Static models range from mass-produced toys in white metal or plastic to highly accurate and detailed models produced for display and requiring thousands of hours of work. Many models are available in kit form, typically made of injection-moulded polystyrene.
Flying models range from simple toy gliders made of card stock or foam polystyrene to powered scale models made from materials such as balsa wood or fibre glass. Some can be very large, especially when used to research the flight properties of a proposed real design.
Flying model aircraft used in the range of different aeromodelling activities can be placed in one of three groups:
Aeromodelling encompasses all aspects of engineering like Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Aerospace etc. Hence it provides a unique opportunity to understand application of engineering concepts under extreme conditions.
We specialize in following Aeromodelling activities:
In basic Aeromodelling,
1. Paper Planes
2. Static Models
3. Chuck Gliders
4. Rubber Powered Gliders
5. Catapult Gliders
Our team helps to set up aeromodelling clubs in schools to empower students strengthen their technological capabilities, innovation and make them industry capable.
Our goal is to locate and sponsor a young girl/boy to participate in an International Aeromodellers’ Competition.
Institutional Member of AMA
Aerotia (TAROL) is an Institutional Member of the Aero Modelers Association (AMA) and sponsor for their school based Programs/Competitions. AMA is based in New Delhi and has been formed to promote all forms of Aeromodelling in India under the auspices of the Aero Club of India. AMA also has given recognition to our short term and long term Programs in Aeromodelling and Model Rocketry.
Global Aero-Sports in conjunction with AMA has announced 5 Awards named YOUNG ACHIEVERS AWARDS to acknowledge and motivate school and college students who have contributed to the development and propagation of Aeromodelling in India. These awards focusing on specific problem solving skills will be presented annually at an AMA function. AMA Members, Global Aero-Sports Franchisees and Schools are encouraged to contact us in this regard.

- Free flight (F/F) model aircraft fly without external control from the ground. This type of model pre-dates manned flight.
- Control line (C/L) model aircraft use cables (usually two) leading from one wing to the controller. A variation of this system is the Round-the-pole flying (RTP) model.
- Radio-controlled aircraft have a transmitter operated by the controller, sending signals to a receiver in the model which in turn actuates servos which manipulate the model’s flight controls in a similar manner to a full sized aircraft.
